MANSONVILLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
MANSONVILLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
We NURTURE, We ACHIEVE, We THRIVE
Welcome
Nestled in the picturesque village of Mansonville, our small and vibrant elementary school offers a truly unique and personalized educational experience. With smaller class sizes than traditional schools, we provide a supportive and nurturing atmosphere that fosters positive relationships and a strong sense of belonging. Rooted in humanist values, our approach to education is tailored to each child’s pace, promoting creativity, cooperation, inclusion, and innovation. Our close-knit community connections enable a holistic approach to learning, addressing not only academic needs but also social, emotional, and personal development. Through active community involvement, our students develop a deep sense of citizenship and responsibility, empowering them to grow into compassionate, engaged, and capable individuals.
We Nurture, We Achieve, We Thrive.
MES Teachers and staff acknowledge that effective implementation of multi-age, multi-level classrooms requires skilled and flexible teaching practices. Teachers and paraprofessionals deeply understand the Quebec Educational Program for all cycles, allowing them to adapt and differentiate instruction, manage diverse student needs, and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
MES students are better prepared for future social and professional interactions in diverse settings since they learn in a multi-age, multi-level classroom. There is less emphasis on comparing students based on age or grade level, creating a more inclusive and supportive learning environment. Students in multi-age, multi-level classrooms are often in flexible grouping for collaborative learning activities. Working with their peers at different skill levels promotes a sense of community, cooperation, and teamwork.
Our dedicated MES parents, community members, volunteer groups and the Governing Board join forces with our dedicated staff to contribute to the overall spirit of the school. Helping hands whenever needed, tutoring, coaching and ensuring that our students have the support they need. We encourage our parents and community members to become more involved in their child's education, as our emphasis is often on individual student growth. This increased involvement positively impacts the overall learning community.
